On 23rd November, 2017 a workshop on mediation ADR was organized under patronage of Worthy District and Sessions Judge Sargodha in lieu of the vision of Honorable Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore Mr Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah. The event was arranged with a view to create awareness among the masses regarding the revolutionary reform brought by Honorable Chief Justice i.e. ADR Centers.
The workshop was participated by District Judiciary Sargodha, lawyers and civil society from different walks of life including teachers, doctors, religious clergies etc so that the vision of Honorable Chief Justice may reach the people of society who are subjects of justice system.
The program started with the name of Allah Almighty. Judge Uzma Ahsan Learned civil judge Bhalwal moderated the event. Judge Iram Ayaz Learned Additional Sessions Judge Bhalwal welcomed the guests and introduced ADR centers. Judge Muhammad Yaqoob Learned Additional Sessions Judge Sargodha discussed various ADR techniques and focused mediation as the vision of Honorable Chief Justice. Judge Yasir Hafeez Awan Mediator ADR Center Sargodha gave a presentation on mediation and also discussed functioning of ADR center Sargodha. President Tehsil Bar Bhalwal Khalid Khan Advocate assured that Bar will support the functioning of Judiciary. DCO Sargodha Mr Liaqat Ali emphasized the mediation as best means to resolve conflict and admired ADR center Sargodha. In the end Worthy District and Sessions Judge Sargodha Judge Sohail Ikram paid tribute to the Honorable Chief Justice for introducing the mechanism and focused the audience to bring ahead the message to general public so that people can benefit from it. In the end audience expressed their views by saying that this is the need of time and praised the Honorable Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah. Participants were served with refreshment at the closing.
